ABOUT

2_edited_edited.jpg

I am an artist born in New Jersey and living in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. My passion for creating art was sparked at an early age while watching my father design fabrics, paint, and capture people and flowers through the lens of his camera.

Primarily self-taught, I have taken art lessons throughout my artistic journey, continually learning and growing as an artist. When I discovered abstract fluid art, I was hooked. Captivated by the interaction of paint and color, I began developing my own style through ongoing experimentation.

For me, painting is pure joy. I’m inspired by the movement, color, and rhythm of the natural world. My work blends abstract expression with my love of flowers and the quiet beauty of nature that surrounds me.

In recent years, I have begun pairing my paintings with poetry—writing mostly myself and collaborating with my mother, who was a gifted writer. This poetic dimension adds an emotional and narrative layer to my visual work, offering viewers a deeper, more personal connection to each piece.

One especially meaningful moment came in 2025, when a painting paired with a poem written by my mother was featured in an exhibit and sold—an experience that affirmed the power of blending visual art with the written word.

Through paint and poetry, I seek to create moments of beauty, reflection, and emotional connection for those who encounter my work.
